The Met-jobs mailing list has been used for over a decade by those wishing:

  • to receive regular (free) mailings of job adverts in meteorology, oceanography and climatology (including vacancies in research, forecasting, technical support, and also course/study vacancies), or
  • to advertise job openings to members of the meteorological/oceanographic community.

The list has over 13,500 subscribers and circulates over 1,400 adverts per year.

Adverts posted in recent months include those for Academic/Scientist positions, Analysts, Consultants, Management (including Professorial and Director positions), Masters and PhD courses, Technical and Work Experience positions.

Looking to study for a PhD or MSc in meteorology, oceanography, climatology, hydrology or a related science? - many such courses are advertised on this list; take a look in the list archives for details of recently posted course announcements.

Advertisements can be posted free-of-charge to this mailing list, and can relate to jobs both within the UK (where this list is hosted) and abroad.
